Clean water
$50 can rush clean, fresh water to 100 people whose lives have been uprooted by emergencies such as war, famine or drought. Disaster can strike quickly in places like Somalia, forcing families from their homes in search of safety. When they arrive in displacement camps, the water situation is often desperate — and diseases like cholera are a deadly reality. We provide immediate access to clean, lifesaving water; in 2011, we gave 1.7 million people access to clean drinking water.
