Emergency Care for a Child
$23 can provide lifesaving medical assistance to a sick and malnourished child staying in the hospital of a refugee camp, as well as supplies to help them stay healthy. Children are at their most vulnerable in areas ravaged by hunger and the hardship it brings. Our health clinics in places like Kenya’s massive Dadaab camp help nurse thousands of refugee children back from the brink with lifesaving antibiotics, IV fluids and glucose, and urgent medical care to fit their specific needs. When they’ve recovered, we provide their families with hygiene supplies and other helpful items that help keep them healthy.
