Community Health Worker Training

$335 can enroll a Burmese refugee in an intensive six-month health worker training course, developed and taught by our doctors at a local college in Thailand. Thousands of Burmese refugees have spent their entire lives in camps on the Thai-Burma border. We're meeting the needs of nearly 70,000 Burmese refugees, including provision of medical services and training of community health workers. By teaching those who are most familiar with the challenges facing Burmese refugee families, we're building a health care system for the poorest of the poor.
