Lifesaving Cholera Treatment
Protecting kids in an epidemic
During a crisis, cholera can spread with alarming speed through villages and refugee camps, and children are particularly vulnerable. In Chad, IRC medical teams responded rapidly to the worst cholera outbreak in a decade, setting up a new cholera treatment center to quickly diagnose and treat patients in an area that hosts more than 26,000 refugees. $190 can provide the medicine and care required to protect 100 children living through a cholera epidemic.
