A Baby Goat

$50 can provide a baby goat for a family in crisis. When grown, a goat can provide milk for malnourished children and become a household asset. In the developing world, goats and other livestock are often a rural family’s most valuable property. When animals perish in disasters, the consequences can be devastating. In Somalia, thousands of animals have been lost to water scarcity and disease. The IRC has helped over 80,000 Somalis by delivering baby goats to help start new herds.
