Quick, nutritious and lifesaving

  • About this gift

Time is of the essence for malnourished children. To survive a food crisis, like the one in Nigeria and Yemen, these children need something quick and nutritious. We give them therapeutic foods like Plumpy’nut, a vitamin-packed, protein-rich paste that requires neither preparation nor medical supervision. It’s easy to distribute, tastes good to children and — most importantly — puts them on the path to health. $68 can help us supply 50 malnourished children with three emergency food packets.

Emergency Food for Children is available in other beautiful designs.

  • What others say

Why they'll love a Rescue Gift

The IRC is the gold standard of aid groups working with refugees. I’ve seen it in action in Darfur, Chad, Central African Republic, Greece, Jordan, South Sudan and other places.
