Healing after a catastrophe

  • About this gift

When catastrophe strikes, vulnerable families need immediate access to medical care. In crisis and disaster zones, the IRC delivers rapid, lifesaving aid that reduces suffering and restores dignity. $60 can provide such essential emergency medical items as a foldable stretcher needed to transport at-risk pregnant women to medical facilities in conflict zones in Syria and Iraq, protective gear to help health workers safely and effectively care for patients with contagious diseases like Ebola, and antibiotics to treat cholera in places like Yemen, where displaced families are increasingly exposed to life-threatening illnesses.

  • What others say

Why they'll love a Rescue Gift

I like being able to donate in my parents' name for birthday, Christmas, Mother's and Father's Day. And they like knowing their gift means something.
