Setting up for success

  • About this gift

Starting a new life in another country can be daunting. The IRC helps refugees adapt to their new communities and find jobs so they can care for themselves and their families. In addition to providing job placement services and vocational training, we provide refugees with much-needed supplies for their first weeks on the job. $200 can cover the cost for a men’s workday kit. This includes a monthly transportation pass, shaving gear, notebooks and pens, portfolios and other helpful workday supplies.

  • What others say

Why they'll love a Rescue Gift

The IRC is the gold standard of aid groups working with refugees. I’ve seen it in action in Darfur, Chad, Central African Republic, Greece, Jordan, South Sudan and other places.
