A delicious meal after a long journey

  • About this gift

The first few days of life in the United States are a whirlwind for refugee families. They have had a long journey and are excited, but very exhausted and uncertain about how to navigate their new life. As part of our work helping them to feel comfortable in their new home, we stock their refrigerator with culturally appropriate food for their first few days or bring them to their local market so they can select their groceries. $80 can help us provide refugee families with nutritious food so they can have warm and delicious meals as they begin their new life.

  • What others say

Why they'll love a Rescue Gift

The IRC is the gold standard of aid groups working with refugees. I’ve seen it in action in Darfur, Chad, Central African Republic, Greece, Jordan, South Sudan and other places.
